APIEM has been established to support the professionalization of the MICE/events industry in the Asia Pacific region. We do this in many different ways. Perhaps the most important contribution that APIEM can make to the Asia Pacific MICE/events industry is to identify those universities, polytechnics and colleges that provide a MICE/events curriculum that is of an international standard and then to accredit the institution as an APIEM Centre of Excellence.

Employers when recruiting graduates from an APIEM Centre of Excellence can be assured that the graduate has developed the skills, knowledge and expertise that is relevant for a career in MICE/events management.
Today it is a pleasure to announce APIEM`s latest Centre of Excellence **** – the Philippines Air Transport & Training Services (PATTS) College, Manila. Under the leadership of Engr. Lorenzo Naval (VP Academic Affairs) and Sir Ericson John (Head of Tourism) an events curriculum has been developed that combines theory with experiential learning to educate students in the complexities of working in the MICE/events industry.
Congratulations to PATTS College on becoming APIEM`s latest Centre of Excellence and also on being the 1st Aeronautical College in Asia Pacific to be accredited by APIEM – a great achievement.
