Chung Hua University, Hsinchu has been accredited as APIEM`s first International Centre of Excellence in Taiwan

Professor David Hind was welcomed to Chung Hua University by Dean of the College of Tourism, Dr Chang and Dr Pei-Ying Wu and Dr Kuan-Wen Eric Lin Assistant Professors of the Department of Tourism and MICE.

As part of the visit David gave a presentation to the College`s faculty on the evolution and development of events management education in the UK. David also conducted an APIEM accreditation audit of the Bachelors degree in Tourism and MICE and was delighted to award International Centre of Excellence status to this programme.

An MoU was signed to confirm APIEM`s continuing support for the development and promotion of events and MICE management education at Chung Hua University.
