Sirajuddin is a lecturer at Lombok Tourism Polytechnic under the Republic of Indonesia`s
Ministry of Tourism from 2021 to the present . He has experience as a lecturer from 1999 –
2012 in the Tourism Study Program, University of Jember East Java and also as a lecturer
from 1999 – 2018 and as a Director at The Academy of Tourism Muhammadiyah Jember
from 2000 – 2008. Sirajuddin, during his profession as lecturer, also plans, organizies and develops international events, for example, the Jember Fashion Carnival (JFC) from 2005 – to the present, and from 2020 -to the present is the Director JFC Planning, Development and
Cooperation. In 2021 – to the present he is the founder and event director of the Mandalika
International Festival at Lombok Tourism Polytechnic. Sirajuddin is also involved in the
planning of events and tourism in the Special Economic Zone Morotai Region North Maluku
province, Sumbawa Island, Lombok Island, East Java, South Kalimantan, East Kalimantan,
West Kalimantan as an event planner and instructor. In 2023-2024. Sirajuddin joined the
Asia Pacific Institute For Events Management as VP for Indonesia to coordinate,
communicate and organize international event courses for Certified Event Planner, Certified
Event Manager, Certified Event Educator and Certified Tourism Educator. Sirajuddin during
2024 established the Mandalika International Foundation (MIF) for organizing the Mandalika
International Festival and supporting the planning of events and tourism in Indonesia.
