Today is a great day for APIEM as we welcome our 1st Professional Member from China – Ubaldino Couto, lecturer in Event Management at the internationally acclaimed Institute for Tourism Studies (IFT), Macao.
Ubaldino is a worthy recipient of being APIEM`s 1st Professional Member from China as he is an international scholar, researcher and consultant having studied in the United Kingdom for his Bachelors and Masters degrees in Tourism Management and being conferred as a Visiting Professor by Sun Yat Sen University, China. Currently, Ubaldino is in the final stages of completing his PhD in Events Management at Leeds Beckett University, the UK Centre for Events Management, where Professor David Hind was the Dean before becoming President of APIEM. Ubaldino`s scholarly publications include presenting papers at 20 international conferences, contributing to 20 books and two international event journals. He is a regular reviewer for six journals.
