Many congratulations to Dr Anukrati Sharma on becoming APIEM`s 1st Professional Member in India. It is an honour for APIEM to welcome Dr Anukrati to our Institute and we look forward to working with you in the months ahead on the professionalisation of India`s events industry.
Dr Anukrati is a very distinguished international scholar and researcher in tourism and events management – she holds Bachelors, Masters and PhD degrees and currently is an Associate Professor in the Department of Commerce and Management at the University of Kota, Rajasthan.
Researching and writing comes easily to Dr Anukrati as she has published 30 journal articles, edited five books, authored nine books and has four books in progress at the moment. Her most recent book is titled `Event Management and Marketing: Theory, Practical Approaches and Planning. In addition she is Editor in Chief of two international journals and Associate Editor in Chief of two journals.
Dr Anukrati`s practical events management experience comes from being a conference organiser – she has been a member of the organising committee of 12 conferences as well as having attended over 50 conferences as a conference speaker or delegate.
