De La Salle University Dasmarinas (DLSD), the Philippines joins APIEM as an International Centre of Excellence **** – many congratulations to Dean Beberlee Desingano, her faculty colleagues and her students on this great achievement. DLSD is one of the Philippines best universities and is situated on a beautiful campus to the south of Manila that provides a very high quality learning environment for its faculty and students. On the campus are a number of historic and heritage buildings that retain their original character but have now been converted and adapted to provide C21st education. DLSD sees it`s campus as a `green` campus and this is certainly confirmed when visiting this peaceful campus. The students on DLSD`s BS Tourism Management and BS Hotel & Restaurant Management programs study MICE/events management as part of their curriculum and have many opportunities for applying their MICE/events management skills in practice. In addition, the students have various opportunities for international experiences.
