Dr Richard Daenos, President, City College of Angeles, Philippines is the worthy recipient of APIEMs Certified Event Manager qualification. In his previous role as Tourism Officer of the City of Angeles he was instrumental in devising a monthly program of events to help transform the image of Angeles from one of sex tourism to one of festivals tourism. In his present role as President of City College Angeles he is ensuring that all students at his college have a formal study program in events/MICE management. In addition, he is a practising events manager organising a variety of different events for clients. This combined experience of events/MICE management has been recognised by APIEM by awarding Dr Richard with APIEMs 1st Certified Event Manager qualification.
