On his recent visit to the Philippines, Professor David Hind President of the Asia Pacific Institute for Events Management visited one of the Philippines leading universities – Lyceum of the Philippines University, Batangas Campus. LPU is APIEM`s first International Centre of Excellence **** in the Philippines. Professor Hind gave a presentation to 800 students on the topic of Creative Event Design. The presentation took place in LPU Batangas` conference hall which provides a great practical learning environment for the events management/MICE students to develop their expertise in organising conferences. The video attached to this post gives a flavour of Professor Hind`s visit – he was greeted by students performing a traditional dance and as is always the case in the Philippines the presentation started with prayers and the university anthem being sung by choristers.
